Cellular Metabolic Activity Detection

BioVenic reduces the incubated substrate based on the metabolic capacity of the animal cells. It uses a spectrophotometer or microplate reader to detect the absorbance, which indirectly measures the number of viable cells and evaluates cell proliferation. This type of detection technology-based solution is widely applicable to various animal cell proliferation detection as well as other types of cell detection, including cytokine activity detection, cytotoxicity detection, and drug screening.

Cellular DNA Synthesis Detection

BioVenic has introduced a highly accurate solution for detecting cell proliferation by directly measuring the DNA synthesis content of animal cells to assess their proliferation ability. During the process of cell proliferation, one of the most significant changes is the doubling of DNA. ATP Content Detection

BioVenic uses the linear relationship between ATP concentration measured in cells and cell number to assess cell proliferation by detecting ATP. ATP is the primary source of energy for animal cells and its levels are closely linked to the cell cycle and physiological state. Dead or dying cells contain almost no ATP. Our service uses a standard reporter gene to detect ATP by bioluminescence. Its luminescence intensity is proportional to the intracellular ATP concentration, making it suitable for researchers requiring high-throughput detection and screening of cell proliferation.
