Target Information

Fibronectin 1, also known as FN1, is a high-molecular weight glycoprotein found in the extracellular matrix. The extracellular matrix is a complex network of proteins and sugars that provides structural support and scaffolding for cells throughout the body. Fibronectin 1 is encoded by the FN1 gene in cattle. It is a glycoprotein component of the extracellular matrix, which exerts different functions during reproductive processes such as fertilisation, gastrulation and implantation.
