Native Bovine Plasma Immunoglobulin G (IgG)

Immunoglobulins are glycoproteins produced by plasma B cells that specifically recognize and bind antigens, such as those found on bacteria and viruses. IgG is an immunoglobulin isotype that is the predominant antibody in serum. IgG binds to various pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi, protecting the body from infection. In bovine milk, IgG is the major isotype present, especially in colostrum.
