Aviadenoviruses encompass adenoviruses that predominantly affect avian species including chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and pheasants, and consist of 15 unique species. Among them, only a single serotype, namely FAdV-5, constitutes the species Fowl aviadenovirus B (FAdV-B).
