Target Information
Integrin alpha L (TGAL), also known as CD11a is an α1integrin subunit that associates with an β2-integrin subunit (CD18) to form LFA-1. CD11a functions in the immune system. CD11a plays an important role in cellular adhesion and costimulatory signaling. Swine monocytes were found to express high levels of CD11a, whereas lymphocytes were distributed into two subpopulations of cells expressing high and low levels of CD11a.
