Target Information

Border disease virus (BDV) is a viral pathogen that primarily affects sheep, causing a disease known as Border Disease (BD). BDV can also impact goats and wild ruminants. The virus primarily targets the reproductive and nervous systems of the host, leading to fetal infection and developmental abnormalities.
