Target Information
Mycoplasma bovis has a significant impact on cattle health, particularly in intensively managed herds. The bacterium can cause pneumonia, leading to respiratory distress in affected animals. It is also associated with mastitis, which is the inflammation of the mammary gland, as well as arthritis and ear infections. These conditions can result in reduced milk production, weight loss, lameness, and overall decreased productivity in cattle.
