BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the Borreliella garinii. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Borreliella garinii infection in feline, canine, and equine. The clone N08Y345 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y346 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Borreliella garinii is a species of spirochete bacteria belonging to the genus Borreliella. Borreliella garinii is a causative agent of Lyme borreliosis (Lyme disease), a tick-borne infectious disease. Borreliella garinii has a particular affinity for the nervous system. Infections with this species may manifest with neurological symptoms such as meningitis, cranial nerve involvement, and radiculopathy.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
