BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the bovine coronavirus. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose bovine coronavirus infection in bovine. The clone N08Y621 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y622 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Bovine coronavirus (BCoV) is a virus that primarily infects cattle, causing enteric and respiratory diseases. It belongs to the Coronaviridae family and is a member of the Betacoronavirus genus. BCoV is primarily transmitted through the fecal-oral route. BCoV commonly causes enteric disease in cattle, leading to symptoms such as diarrhea, dehydration, and sometimes respiratory signs. BCoV can also cause respiratory disease, particularly in calves, leading to coughing and nasal discharge.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
