Rabbit Anti-Mycobacterium bovis fbpA Protein Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit anti-Mycobacterium bovis fbpA protein polyclonal antibody can be used in WB and ELISA to help researchers detect or develop diagnosis assays of Mycobacterium bovis infection.
Specifications
Target Information
The fbpA gene in Mycobacterium bovis encodes the antigen 85A (Ag85A) protein, a component of the antigen 85 complex. The Ag85 complex includes three closely related proteins: Ag85A, Ag85B, and Ag85C. The Ag85A protein is highly immunogenic, and antibodies against it are often produced during mycobacterial infections. It is a major target for the host immune response and has been explored for its potential in diagnostic tests for tuberculosis.
