BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the porcine epidemic diarrhea virus. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose porcine epidemic diarrhea virus infection in swine. The clone N08Y797 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y798 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) is a highly contagious coronavirus that infects pigs, causing a severe enteric disease known as Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea (PED). The virus primarily affects the small intestine of pigs, leading to diarrhea, dehydration, and, in particular, high mortality rates in piglets.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
