It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Tritrichomonas foetus infection in bovine, ovine, and caprine. The clone N08Y489 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y490 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Tritrichomonas foetus is a flagellated protozoan belonging to the order Trichomonadida. The primary host of Tritrichomonas foetus is cattle, and it specifically infects the reproductive and urinary tracts. Tritrichomonas foetus is primarily transmitted through direct contact during mating. It is a sexually transmitted parasite that can cause infertility, early embryonic death, and abortion in infected cows.
