Mouse Anti-Infectious Bursal Disease Virus VP2 Monoclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic mouse anti-infectious bursal disease virus VP2 monoclonal antibody was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose infectious bursal disease virus infection in chicken. The clone N08Y163 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y164 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
VP2 is known for its antigenic properties and is a major target for the host immune response. VP2 likely plays a role in the initial stages of viral entry into host cells. VP2 is subject to genetic variability, and different strains of IBDV may exhibit variations in the VP2 sequence. VP2 antibody is often used in diagnostic tests to detect the presence of IBDV in chicken.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Documents
The product is for research use only.
Not for commercial, prophylactic, diagnostic, or therapeutic applications.
User Note
- The clone N08Y163 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and N08Y164 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.
