BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the Giardia lamblia. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Giardia lamblia infection in feline, canine, rabbit, bovine, equine, ovine, caprine, aquaculture species, swine, and avian. The clone N08Y303 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y304 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Giardia lamblia is a protozoan parasite that typically causes a gastrointestinal infection known as giardiasis. In infected animals, including humans, Giardia lamblia can interfere with the absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, potentially leading to malnutrition, growth stunting, and developmental issues, especially in young animals.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
