It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose African swine fever virus infection in swine. The clone N08Y719 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y720 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
The African swine fever virus (ASFV) hexon protein, often referred to as p72, is a major structural protein of the virus. p72 is a large structural protein that forms the capsid. The protein is highly specific to ASFV and is a common target for diagnostic assays for ASFV detection.
