BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the Chlamydophila felis. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Chlamydophila felis infection in feline. The clone N07Y177 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N07Y178 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Chlamydophila felis is an obligate intracellular bacterium, that primarily affects cats and causes feline chlamydiosis. The bacterium is primarily transmitted through respiratory secretions and ocular discharge. Infected cats may exhibit symptoms such as sneezing, nasal discharge, and coughing. In addition to respiratory symptoms, infected cats may also develop conjunctivitis.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
