Target Information

Chlamydophila felis is an obligate intracellular bacterium, that primarily affects cats and causes feline chlamydiosis. The bacterium is primarily transmitted through respiratory secretions and ocular discharge. Infected cats may exhibit symptoms such as sneezing, nasal discharge, and coughing. In addition to respiratory symptoms, infected cats may also develop conjunctivitis.
