Mouse Anti-Bluetongue Virus VP7 Monoclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic mouse anti-bluetongue virus VP7 monoclonal antibody was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose bluetongue virus infection in bovine, ovine, caprine, and deer. The clone N08Y519 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y520 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.
Specifications
Target Information
VP7 is a core protein that forms an integral part of the Bluetongue virus structure. It is involved in the assembly of the viral core, which encapsulates the viral genome. VP7 is used in diagnostic assays for the detection of antibodies against the Bluetongue virus. Serological tests targeting VP7 can aid in identifying animals that have been infected with the virus.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
Documents
The product is for research use only.
