BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for Pasteurella multocida. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to sandwich ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose fowl cholera, atrophic rhinitis, and Hemorrhagic septicemia. The clone O18Y95 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone O18Y96 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Pasteurella multocida is a Gram-negative bacterium found in various animal species, including domestic animals and wildlife. Its significance lies in its dual roles as a commensal bacterium in some contexts and a pathogen in others. Pasteurella multocida displays diversity in its strains and their virulence factors. Different strains may cause varying disease manifestations in different host species. For example, respiratory infections in poultry, atrophic rhinitis in pigs, and fowl cholera in birds.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
