Target Information

Tryptase is a trypsin-like serine protease which is the most abundant mast cell protein. It has been suggested as a good marker for mast cell degranulation. Early-weaned piglet intestinal mucosa had increased mucocal mast cell trytase levels compared with late-weaned intestinal mucosa.
