Target Information

ADAM metallopeptidase with thrombospondin type 1 motif 4 is encoded by the ADAMTS4 gene in cattle. ADAMTS4 and/or ADAMTS5 may be the relevant aggrecan-degrading proteases that are synthesized by articular chondrocytes in response to IL-1α and TNFα.
