Target Information

Hyaluronic acid (also known as hyaluronan or hyaluronate) is an anionic, nonsulfated glycosaminoglycan distributed widely throughout connective, epithelial, and neural tissues. It helps the joints function smoothly by preventing bones from grinding against each other and reduces pain and the risk of injury. Exogenous HA has been reported to improve early embryo development in vitro in pigs and cows.
