Target Information

Similar to ITGA5, Integrin Alpha-V is an integrin involved in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling through interactions with specific extracellular matrix components. It is expressed on various cell types, including endothelial cells, epithelial cells, and fibroblasts. Bovine Integrin Alpha-V is encoded by the ITGAV gene in cattle. Research has reported the association between a synonymous SNP at bovine alpha vitronectin domain of integrin receptor (ITGAV) gene and Foot-and-mouth disease susceptibility in cattle.
