Canine proximal tubular epithelial primary cells expressing GFP are isolated and cultured from canine kidney. These cells are obtained from the third generation after isolation and culture, and they exhibit high vitality and activity. Canine proximal tubular epithelial primary cell products are utilized in various standard biochemical procedures to characterize cell products and derivatives, as well as to investigate cell-cell interactions. These cell products stably expressed GFP which transfected with lentivirus, producing a vivid green fluorescence when exposed to blue light. This fluorescence can be utilized for visualization purposes in various related research applications.
