Target Information

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is a member of the gonadotropins, which are hormones that affect the reproductive process. FSH collaborates closely with luteinizing hormone (LH) in the reproductive system. Research indicates that low doses of FSH can effectively induce follicular turnover. It has been shown that high levels of FSH are associated with a high frequency of laying (daily) in ISA Brown strain hens.
