Target Information

Estradiol, also referred to as E2, influences gander testes by binding to estrogen receptors ERa and ERb. The seasonal variations in E2 levels, along with the expression of ERa and ERb genes and proteins in gander testes, suggest that estrogens play a role in regulating testicular activity in male birds.
