Target Information
Bovine Nucleophosmin (NPM1), also known as B23, is a multifunctional nucleolar protein involved in ribosome biogenesis, maintenance of genome stability, and regulation of apoptosis. It shuttles between the nucleus and cytoplasm, acting as a histone chaperone and participating in chromatin remodeling. NPM1 is implicated in various cellular processes, including mRNA transport, centrosome duplication, and DNA repair. Dysregulation of NPM1 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer.
