Target Information
Porcine TRIM33, also known as Ectodermin or TIF1γ, is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation, cell proliferation, and immune response. It promotes the ubiquitination and degradation of SMAD4, a key protein in the TGF-β signaling pathway, thereby modulating cell proliferation and differentiation. TRIM33 is also involved in regulating inflammation by targeting proteins such as Annexin A2 for ubiquitination, which affects NF-κB signaling.
