Immortalized porcine bone marrow-derived endothelial primary cells are isolated from porcine bone marrow tissue and exhibited an extended lifespan compared to normal primary cells. Primary cells are immortalized by overexpressing the large T-antigen of the simian virus 40 (SV40T antigens). Porcine bone marrow-derived endothelial primary cell products are utilized in various standard biochemical procedures to characterize cell products and derivatives, as well as to investigate cell-cell interactions.
