Target Information

C-C motif chemokine ligand 4 is encoded by the CCL4 gene in pigs. Research has shown that DSS administration can alter the epithelial barrier created in vitro by porcine intestinal epithelial cells and induce a potent inflammatory response, characterized by increases in the expression levels of several inflammatory factors including CCL4.
