Porcine Glomerular Mesangial Primary Cells

Porcine primary glomerular mesangial cells are isolated from porcine kidney tissue. After isolating and culturing these cells, the third-generation cells are cryopreserved, demonstrating high viability and activity. Mesangial cells are highly active cells in the glomerulus. They perform various functions such as secreting extracellular matrix, producing cytokines, phagocytizing and clearing macromolecules, and contracting similar to smooth muscle cells. Porcine glomerular mesangial cell products are utilized in various standard biochemical procedures, such as PCR, Western blot analysis, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry, for scientific research purposes. They are also used to characterize cellular products and derivatives required for scientific research, as well as to explore cell-cell interactions.
