Target Information

Keratin, Type I Cytoskeletal 20 is encoded by the KRT20 gene in pigs. Keratin-20 is a member of the type I keratins. It has been used as a valuable histochemical marker for many tumors and metaplasia. It is specifically found in the gastric, intestinal, and urothelial mucosa. It is expressed predominantly in undifferentiated epithelial cells in the early stages of organogenesis and in some tumor cells.
