Porcine liver epithelial primary cells expressing GFP are isolated from porcine liver, cultured, and harvested at passages 2-3 to ensure the viability and activity of the product. Porcine liver epithelial primary cell products are utilized in various standard biochemical procedures to characterize cell products and derivatives, as well as to investigate cell-cell interactions. These cell products stably expressed GFP which transfected with lentivirus, producing a vivid green fluorescence when exposed to blue light. This fluorescence can be utilized for visualization purposes in various related research applications.
