Target Information

Ubiquitin Carboxyl-terminal Hydrolase Isozyme L1 is encoded by the UCHL1 gene in pigs. It is a multifunctional protein involved in cellular regulation. It belongs to the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. It is one of the severely downregulated proteins in the Cd-transformed cells. It can play a critical role in maintaining the appropriate differentiation status in lung epithelial cells. It plays a role in maintaining a stable pool of monoubiquitin, essential for the ubiquitin-proteasome and autophagy-lysosome pathways.

Target/Biomarker Porcine UCHL1
