Target Information
Bovine coagulation factor VII (F7) is a key glycoprotein involved in the extrinsic pathway of blood coagulation. It is synthesized as a single-chain zymogen and activated by proteolysis to form FVIIa, which then complexes with tissue factor (TF) to convert factor X to factor Xa, initiating the coagulation cascade. This protein is primarily produced by hepatocytes but can also be expressed by monocytes/macrophages during inflammation.
