Target Information

Dengue virus (DENV) is responsible for dengue fever. It is a mosquito-borne virus with a single positive-stranded RNA, belonging to the family Flaviviridae and the genus Flavivirus. Apart from non-human primates, dengue infections have also been reported in pigs, marsupials, bats, birds, horses, bovids, rodents, and dogs. This is a recombinant partial genome polyprotein of dengue virus type 2.
