Target Information
Bovine Fatty Acid-Binding Protein, Liver is encoded by the FABP1 gene in cattle. FABP1 is primarily expressed in the liver. It is involved in the binding, transport, and metabolism of long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs), endocannabinoids, and phytocannabinoids. It is a member of fatty acid-binding proteins which have high affinity for long-chain fatty acids and appear to participate in the metabolism and intracellular transport of lipids.
