Target Information

Neuritin 1 is a protein involved in neuronal development, differentiation, and survival. It promotes neurite outgrowth and synaptogenesis, essential for establishing neuronal connections. It is encoded by the NRN1 gene in cattle. This protein is found outside of cells and is linked to glycophosphatidylinositol. It helps to improve the growth and development of axons and dendrites, as well as the maturation of synapses in the central nervous system.
