Target Information

Bovine Protein S100-A16 is encoded by the S100A16 gene in cattle. It is a calcium-binding protein belonging to the S100 superfamily, and it is mostly involved in tumor progression. It enables calcium ion binding activity and protein homodimerization activity. It is predicted to act upstream of or within response to calcium ion. It is located in several cellular components, including cytosol; extracellular space; and nucleolus.
