Target Information

Transgelin 3 (TAGLN3), also known as Neuronal Protein 25 (NP25), is a protein encoded by the TAGLN3 gene in cattle. It is a member of transgelins which is linked to fibrosis. TAGLN3 is predicted to be involved in central nervous system development and may act upstream of or within negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. It is predicted to be located in the nucleus and active in the cytoskeleton.
