Target Information
The Beta-Type Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor (PDGFRB), also known as PDGFR-β, is a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) family. PDGF subunits -A and -B are important factors regulating cell proliferation, cellular differentiation, cell growth, development, and many diseases, including cancer. Beta-Type Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor is encoded by the PDGFRB gene in dogs. It plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis, invasion and distant metastasis of cancers.
