Target Information
Bovine C-X-C Chemokine Receptor Type 3 (CXCR3), encoded by the CXCR3 gene in cattle, is predominantly expressed on activated T lymphocytes, natural killer (NK) cells, and certain epithelial cells. Notably, CXCR3 and CCR5 are preferentially found on Th1 cells, while Th2 cells exhibit a preference for CCR3 and CCR4 expression. Structurally, CXCR3 is a G-protein-coupled receptor with a seven-transmembrane domain. Its pivotal role lies in trafficking effector T-cells and NK cells, contributing to immune responses and inflammation.
