Target Information
Bovine aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator is encoded by the bovine gene ARNT. It is a transcription factor belonging to the basic helix loop helix (bHLH)-per Arnt sim (PAS) family. It forms a complex with the ligand-bound aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) and is required for receptor function. It is generally thought to play a key role in two distinct areas: the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) and the hypoxia inducible factor (HIF) signalling pathways.
