Riboflavin helps break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. It also plays a vital role in maintaining the body's energy supply by converting carbohydrates into adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Heat stress can cause significantly decreased vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, and niacin concentrations in goats.
