Target Information

Brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) is associated with lipid metabolism in mammals and is encoded by the natriuretic peptide precursor B. In chickens, BNP promotes the proliferation, differentiation, and lipolysis of preadipocytes by upregulating the expression levels of its receptor NPR1, along with key genes involved in the glycerolipid metabolic pathway.
