Target Information

IFNA3, also known as IFN-alpha, is encoded by the IFNA3 gene in chickens. It was reported that highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 virus induced excessive expression of type I IFNs (IFNA and IFNG) in chicken lung tissues.
