Target Information

Tyrosine-protein kinase SYK, also known as spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK), is an enzyme encoded by the SYK gene in pigs. SYK belongs to the Syk family of tyrosine kinases. It plays a crucial role in intracellular signaling by mediating responses to various cytokines and growth factors. It is a cytosolic non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) and is mainly expressed in hematopoietic cells.
