Target Information

Tenascin C (TNC) is a glycoprotein encoded by the TNC gene. During development, disease or injury, it is expressed in the extracellular matrix of various tissues and plays an obvious role in cell signaling. Research showed that resistance to salmonellosis in the chicken is linked to NRAMP1 and TNC.
