Target Information
CD137 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor family, also known as member 9 of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF9). The members of this receptor family and their structurally related ligands are important regulators of various physiological processes, playing an important role in the regulation of immune responses. CD137 can enhance T cell proliferation, IL-2 secretion, survival, and cell lysis activity. In chickens, TNFRSF9 may play an important role in eggshell blueness.
