It plays a major role in voluntary muscle movement throughout the body. It is crucial for brain nerve cells, impacting memory, thinking, and learning. Neither exogenous PGE2 nor the cyclooxygenase inhibitor indomethacin can influence ACh release from the bronchi in a equine model.
