Target Information

Angiotensin II (Ang II) is a major regulator of cardiovascular function in adult vertebrates. Angiotensin II is administered intravenously to raise blood pressure in adults with septic or other distributive shock. It acts by increasing blood pressure through systemic vasoconstriction.
